Poor upset geometry can create an unfavorable stress coNCentration even when the nominal \u0627\u0644\u062d\u062c\u0645 and \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0631\u062c\u0629 are correct.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">\u0627\u0644\u0645\u0639\u0627\u0644\u062c\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0631\u0627\u0631\u064a\u0629 then establishes the required mechanical properties for \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0631\u062c\u0629s such as <strong>E75, X95, G105 and S135<\/strong>. The important point is not only whether one test result meets the requirement, but whether the same mechanical-property range can be maintained across the production lot.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">A \u0627\u0644\u0628\u0626\u0631-controlled \u0627\u0644\u0634\u0631\u0643\u0629 \u0627\u0644\u0645\u0635\u0646\u0639\u0629 should be able to connect the upset and heat-treatment records with the corresponding tensile, \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0644\u0627\u0628\u0629 and iMPact-test results. The finished \u0627\u0644\u0648\u0635\u0644\u0629 should remain traceable back to the relevant production and heat-treatment lot.<\/p>\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Friction Welding Should Be Treated as a Major QualIFication Point<\/h2>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Friction welding joins the upset \u0627\u0644\u0623\u0646\u0627\u0628\u064a\u0628 body to the \u0627\u0644\u0648\u0635\u0644\u0629 and is therefore one of the most important stages in finished \u0623\u0646\u0628\u0648\u0628 \u0627\u0644\u062d\u0641\u0631 production. Alignment, welding para\u0645\u062a\u0631s, flash removal and post-weld treatment all influeNCe the condition of the final weld zone.<\/p>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">Current API 5DP requirements limit weld-zone \u0627\u0644\u0635\u0644\u0627\u0628\u0629 to <strong>37 HRC maximum or equivalent for \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0631\u062c\u0629s E, X, G and S<\/strong>, while \u0627\u0644\u062f\u0631\u062c\u0629 V uses a maximum of <strong>40 HRC<\/strong>.
